What is the Longhorn Foundation?

The Longhorn Foundation is a group of people who work together to raise funds for Rancho Buena Vista High School programs and equipment. For many years the Longhorn Foundations' primary focus was to complete the stadium. Through the dedication of many people that dream was completed a few years ago. More recently, we devoted fund raising events to occur.

The Foundation is expanding its scope to help the entire campus. While new facilities like a new swimming pool or gym are very important, we also feel we can help the clubs, boosters and sports teams across the campus. We are changing our focus to help all groups with fundraising efforts. We want to grow the number of volunteers so that the overall funds raised will grow by working together rather than separately in smaller groups.

We are looking for more parents to join the Foundation. We are all volunteers and there is no cost to join. The Longhorn Foundation meets the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the career center. We have numerous opportunities (big and small) including selling commemorative tiles for our new Donor Wall located in the Stadium.
